National CharacterNational character is based on folk dance from countries such as Russia, Poland and Hungary, but with a strong classical technique. Famous ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty incorporate elements of this dance form.North Shore Dance Academy offers national character dance for ballet students from Grade 2 and upwards and is recommended to complement overall training, technique and style. |
